We have set the dates & are working on getting everything organized-this is one that we will be getting ready for "till the midnight hour" as I really wasn't crazy about doing in anyway---but I have to..... For those of you who don't know the Mixon's are my parents & this is my old family home place where I grew up. I inherited the house & contents & will be remodeling the house & it will be for lease- at some point--and as my heart & minnd seems to change on the subject---we may even live there in the future-who knows--but I can't move forward, remodel, do anything until I liquidate the bulk of the contents of this home--I can only move forward ...if you don't look back--or can't stay stuck in the past.... Just like my clients -I realize that one can't keep everything-so after much intentional delay-it's really time to move ahead & do this Estate Sale. Also like my clients-I found myself saying "I never new there was SO much over everything is this house!" WOW.... This is a wonderful old house & it's filled with eclectic collections & unique items. My dad was a practicing Dentist for well over 55 yrs & Mama was a teacher in the early years & later raised AKC poodles & raised five of us children. DOG LOVERS READ BELOW~ The dogs at the end of the pictures have been rescued by my friend Richie Coleman- Here is a little info. on the dogs. Richie had been watching them for several weeks run up and down Indian Trail (50 mph). I could not stand it anymore so I went on a hunt, found the owner and purchased both dogs. I have a Bill of Sale for both dogs---so owner is out of the picture completely! The beautiful (and rare) light Sable-Shepherd's name is Princess. It appears as though she is purebred---but no confirmation/papers. Temperament is good--a little timid--and very friendly, once she warms up. She will follow commands from both males & females. She appears to be housebroken--as she whined by the door when she needed to "pee". Currently she is at the Barnesville Animal Clinic. Dr. Lori Morgan is "working" on her. Her teeth indicated she is between 1-2 years old. She weighs around 65 lbs., she is free of heartworms, being treated for hookworms and erchilitis??? (rocky mnt. spotted fever--from a tick), and a cut on her rear foot/pad. Dr. Morgan sez the worms and erch?? will be eliminated--with no lasting effects, and the cut will heal completely. She is scheduled to be spayed on Monday (2/13/06). Then ready to go to her new home on Tuesday 2-14. She will need to be watched closely (kept inactive) for a few days following the surgery. Dr. Morgan may want to re-eval after 7-10 days. The pretty black shepherd-lab mix?? is called Midnight. He is the leader of these two dogs and almost looks as though he is smiling. Very happy, friendly dog, responding to both males and females. Midnight weighs 45 lbs., is about full grown, and also appears to be house broken . His teeth indicate he is about 1+ years. He is also at Barnesville Animal Clinic under the care of Dr. Morgan. He will have been tested for heartworms & intestinal worms (don't have the results yet). He is scheduled to be neutered on Monday 2/13. And then ready for his new home on 2/14 These dogs need a good, nurturing, loving home with a fenced yard. They love to run. It would be a dream come true if they could stay together--they are true "pals". The most important thing is a good loving home, where they will not be neglected.
